Furry Skurry '06

This is the 3rd year we have participated in the annual 5k walk to benefit the Human Society of Dayton. It is such a breath of fresh air to be around people who feel the same way about dogs and adopting dogs. My beast got loose twice because of the wet weather loosening her Halti. Both times you could tell we were around dog people because everyone was trying to catch her but doing so in a way that befits animal lovers.

They did a fabulous job of displaying adoptable dogs, which made it tough to come home with out numero 3. Got a chance to talk to a couple that were very much like us and they were there to walk but it appeared that a little mutt had caught their eye. He was adorable and I honestly think that they made a great choice, he was feisty but still so sweet.

Great to be back down in Dayton again as well, been away for too long. Went to Balitmore and Columbus the last 2 weekends but I still love the close community exhibited in downtown Dayton.
